Introduction to Stainless Steel 403 / Alloy 403 / UNS S40300

Hastelloy C276

MOKSH TUBES & FITTINGS LLP is a leading supplier, exporter, importer, and stockist of a wide range of Stainless Steel 403 products including Pipes & Tubes, Pipe Fittings, Flanges, Fasteners, Sheets & Plates, Coils, Wires, Round Bars, Flat Bars, Angles, Channels, Wire Mesh, and various custom and hard-to-find 403 components.

Stainless Steel 403 is a straight chromium martensitic stainless steel with excellent mechanical properties, moderate corrosion resistance, and high hardenability. It contains about 12% chromium, allowing it to offer good oxidation resistance and moderate corrosion protection, while maintaining high strength and hardness after heat treatment.

SS 403 is magnetic in both annealed and hardened conditions. It’s commonly used for turbine blades, engineering components, cutlery, valves, and parts that operate under mild corrosion and high mechanical stress.
